Step 1
Laptop Blu Ray Drive Internal
Unpack your Blu-Ray optical drive. It should say on the box whether or not the USB cable is included. If it isn't, you will need to purchase one before you can connect the drive.
Step 2
Connect your drive. Plug in one end of the USB cable to the optical drive. Plug the other end into your computer. If you have chosen a self-powered drive, then your connection is complete. If you have chosen a drive with an external power source, plug the adapter into the drive and then into the electrical outlet.
Install the software. While the drive will probably work OK right out of the box, installing the software will ensure that it functions fully and as it was intended.
